Isabella Briggs shares her thoughts on ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ ending
So, first of all, are you amazed at the success of The Summer Champ Pretty? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I knew it was such a big beloved show. I just feel like this season absolutely exploded in a really lovely way. And just to know that people love the show so much, connect with my character, connect with all of the characters, I just feel so blessed to be a part of something like that. Um, do you agree with her choice? I you know what I do? Really? I especially, you know, Hey, you know my character that it just meant that I get an ending, right? Um, no, I I do. I think ultimately she chose with her heart with nobody. She’s leading with her heart and that’s where she wanted to end up. I’m very happy. I do. You feel like she kind of strung on Jeremiah. I mean, I thought it was kind of cool. I think it’s I have never been in her position. I You’ve never dated two brothers at the same time? I can’t say that I have. I’ll have to check the records. Um, but I I think that mistakes were made in all of the parties, you know. I They’re young, they’re learning, mistakes were made. Responsibility should be taken. Absolutely. But I love all those characters. I think they end up in a really bright spot and a very happy. Don’t you I just imagine I started thinking like at the end when they’re showing happy photos of her and Connie I was like what is Christmas and Thanksgiving going to be like when they I mean well we don’t have to think about that. We don’t want to talk about that. I don’t even want to I don’t think anybody wants to think about that. Don’t you think uncomfortable? I don’t even I mean I feel like it’s definitely going to be some awkward silences. Um but hopefully they all make it through.
