The future king of England gave him a surprise video call during his rehearsals and called him out for missing the Earth Prize in Brazil, which took place on November 5th. Robert then told his big sister and Dancing with the Stars champion, Bindy Irwin, that he is dancing the foxtrot to Footprints in the Sand, which she dedicated to their dad, Steve Irwin, on her season of the show. So, this week we’re doing the foxtrot to your freestyle dance to Footprints in the Sand. This performance is so meaningful because my sister originally dedicated it to my dad and his legacy. So, there’s a lot of weight because I really want it to be our best dance yet, to be honest. Bendy ended up joining Robert for the final moments of his dance where they slow dance and held hands as they looked at footage of their dad. The special moment even brought the wildlife conservationist to his knees. Moving performance got Robert and Whitney the first perfect score of the season. Following their performance, the 21-year-old got emotional again, explaining what this dance means to him. Tonight to me was about this wildlife conservation legacy I represent. I mean, I I didn’t know that footage was going to be there at the end, but every time that I step onto that floor, I represent my dad, his message, and what he stood for.
