An unusual scene unfolded at the Jonas Brothers concert in Buffalo, New York, on Sunday, Nov. 9, when a concertgoer was spotted reading a resume on his phone during the band’s performance.
The moment was captured by TikTok user @your.girl.jen, whose video showed the man with his eyes fixed not on Nick, Joe, and Kevin, but on his phone, which displayed a file titled “Scott Kelly Resume Sept. 2025.”
“Scott Kelly, your resume was being reviewed at a Jonas Brothers concert tonight. Good luck. I hope you get the job,” wrote @your.girl.jen in her caption.
The video quickly took off, racking up over 5.8 million likes and a staggering 35 million views. It also ignited a wave of support for Kelly on his job search — even prompting the Jonas Brothers to comment.
“Scott Kelly’s work ethic and critical thinking inspired me to write the line ‘red dress,’” wrote Nick.
Meanwhile, Kevin commented, “I’m one of Scott Kelly’s references.”
Other major brand accounts also vouched for Kelly, who has yet to be identified.
The Buffalo Wild Wings TikTok account commented, “Scott Kelly taught me everything I know.”
The NHL account wrote simply, “rooting for you Scott Kelly.”
Lyft remarked, “Scott Kelly gave me life changing advice when he drove me home.”
Old Navy chimed in with, “Scott Kelly always dresses professionally, highly recommend.”
Other users offered some humorous takes, with one referencing the Coldplay KissCam saga in which a CEO was caught having a high-profile affair during a Coldplay concert. “Some CEO’s cheat during concerts, others review resumes!”
The Jonas Brothers were in Buffalo as part of their “Greetings From Your Hometown” tour. Prior to the show, the band tried one of the city’s most famous specialties— Buffalo wings. Nick gave the local fare a glowing review. “Overall, 10 out of 10,” he said.
