    Paris Jackson Shares How Drugs “Ruined” Her Life | E! News

    Paris Jackson is opening up about a consequence from her past drug use. The daughter of Michael Jackson takes a Tik Tok on November 10th to share that she has a perforated septum or a small hole in the wall separating her nostrils due to her past drug use, saying, “I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose. That is because I have what is called a perforated septum. Slightly different from a deviated septum, and that is from what you think it’s from.” And while Paris as she doesn’t want to tell anyone how to live their life, she emphasizes, quote, “I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life.” As for fixing the health issue, the singer shares that she doesn’t want anything to jeopardize her sobriety. Explaining, “I don’t want to get plastic surgery to fix it because I’m almost 6 years sober, and you have to take pills when you do a surgery that gnarly, and I don’t want to with that.” Since getting sober, Paris has been open about her past struggles with heroin and alcohol addiction. Back in October, the 27-year-old shared how she feels she is coming back to herself as she was accepting the Shining Star Award from the Friendly House, which is an organization that helps women struggling with addiction and other challenges. Telling the crowd, “I didn’t just get my life back, I got a better one.” I say, “It’s funny. I feel like getting sober was kind of like getting into a car accident because everything I shoved in the back seat moved forward on impact. And today, I’m learning to navigate life on life’s terms.       She was very little when MJ left this Earth. Who took care of her? They didn’t do a good job with her. All that money that she inherited and she’s miserable.

      She needs to get away from show business. Her father was the artist superstar. She doesn’t have to be a celebrity. Go live somewhere far from LA and live a simple life. Maybe invest on some real estate or some smart business.

      I am so glad she survived and is still here and very proud of her for being six years sober. She is right to be cautious about surgery coz pain meds after surgery is what led to Lisa Marie Presley’s addiction & relapse. She reminds me of Lisa Marie so much, I wish Paris all the resilience in the world, hope she stays away from the bullies on social media and knows that the world loves her and her father.

      Well, as recovering addict myself, I got the surgery for it because it was causing other problems as well and I really didn’t need anything stronger than an Advil. Very little pain. However, I lost my leg 3 years ago during a fentanyl overdose so I might have a stronger pain threshold bc I couldn’t take a painkillers for that either. It’s all about priorities honestly. Personally, the thought of no longer living with constant snot coming from my nose was worth it. Glad she’s found sobriety though!
