Alicia Silverstone Gets Emotional Detailing Late Mom’s Clueless Cameo | E! News

It’s really lovely to have cuz I love her and miss her. Alicia Silverstone gets emotional recalling her late mom’s cameo in Clueless. As fans know, Alicia hit meardom with her iconic role as Beverly Hills teen Sher Horowitz in the 1995 classic. And during a Q&A at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York, November 12th, Alicia recalls a very special appearance in the film and how the date of the Q&A’s event makes the night extra special. in the wedding scene. My mom is in the back and um she died this night six years ago. So, it’s really lovely to have cuz I love her and miss her and so it was very moving to see that moment and go like, “Oh, my mother’s my mommy.” In the famous scene, Alicia as Sher, Stacy Dash as Dion, and Britney Murphy as Tai sit at a table while it appears that Dee Silverstone is dressed as a wedding guest in the background. Alicia adds during the Q&A that she was by her mom’s side till the end and notes that Dee would be thrilled that the film is still making such an impact. She’d be really happy that this was happening cuz she really liked all this. So, um, anyway, not to bring you down, but that brings us up, but, um, so that’s really nice to be here and doing this tonight with that in mind. Um, but Clueless has been amazing.
