Poker Face’s Natasha Lyonne to be Replaced by Peter Dinklage After Peacock Cancellation | E! News

We ain’t lying. Pokerface has been cancelled after two seasons, but creator Ryan Johnson reportedly has a plan to keep the mystery series alive. According to multiple outlets, Johnson and MRC television, who produces the series with Ryan’s T- Street Production Company, will shop the show to other outlets, but with a twist. Siri star Natasha Leon will no longer play the lead of Human Lie Detector Charlie Kale, but instead stay on as an executive producer. The show will then cast a different actor in the role with outlets reporting that Game of Thrones alum Peter Dinklage will play Charlie in its next iteration, which would then see the show rotating to new Charlie’s every two seasons. Johnson and Leon say in a statement, “We’ve been germinating this next move together since writing the season 2 finale. We love our poker face and this is the perfect way to keep it rolling.” Ryan Johnson is also famous for his Knives Out series on the big screen. The franchise’s third installment, Wake Up Dead Man, a Knives Out Mystery, is set to hit theaters November 26th and follows Detective Benois Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, investigating yet another mysterious death.
