Tori Spelling isn’t convinced Dancing with the Stars kept things even during Robert Irwin’s performance this week.

On the Thursday, November 13 episode of her Misspelling podcast, Spelling, 52, questioned whether Irwin’s perfect score was helped by the touching onstage appearance from his older sister, Bindi Irwin, 27.

“You know, I’m a stickler for fairness. Here I go, here we go. Bindi got to come out with Robert and [his pro partner] Witney [Carson]. Is that fair to the rest?” Spelling asked, per Us Weekly. “You know, I don’t think so.”

On the episode, each couple performed a routine inspired by a former DWTS champion’s freestyle.

Robert, 21, and Carson earned the season’s first perfect score for their foxtrot, inspired by Bindi’s 2016 tribute to their late father, Steve Irwin. Bindi won the Mirrorball Trophy on Season 21.

Spelling emphasized that she still believes the routine stood strong on its own.

“I’m not negating that Robert and Witney, even without the Bindi factor, I thought it deserved all 10s. It was flawless. It was fluid. It was everything they have asked him to work on, to do. He was connected. It was gorgeous,” Spelling said.

But the mother of five still questioned whether the emotional family moment gave Irwin an edge.

“Of course, I loved the video of him and his dad and family coming up and then Bindi joining him. You know, they got the package with the alligator. Like, no one else got that.”

Whether it was an advantage or not, Robert has become one of the season’s breakout favorites. Viewers have also zeroed in on his dating life, recently speculating his chemistry with DWTS alum Xochitl Gomez. He also was recently linked to DWTS troupe member Hailey Bills.
