I was watching “The Long Kiss Goodnight” (1996) yesterday because the odd pairing of Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson caught my interest in checking out the movie, and based on what I’ve heard about it. Their dynamic is what really makes the movie stand out, along with some pretty impressive action sequences and after watching it I have to say it really delivered!
This movie made me love Davis and Jackson as a pair so much, that I needed to see more of them together and I was disappointed to learn that they haven’t worked together again ever since they did this movie.
I’m really rooting for a reunion between them at some point, and hopefully real soon since next year it’ll mark as the 30th anniversary since The Long Kiss Goodnight was released!
