The season has changed again, which means it’s time for Kate Middleton to share a special — and personal — message.
The Princess of Wales, 43, provided a voiceover for a new, reflective video shared on her social media pages on Saturday, Nov. 15. Titled “Autumn,” the video marks the third installment inn the royal’s quarterly “Mother Nature” series, which she began this year.
“As the days grow shorter and the shadows grow longer, the energy of summer withdraws into autumn. This is the season for reflection and refinement,” Princess Kate begins her voiceover for the video, which kicks off with footage of her walking alongside chef Gill Meller in a forest.
As the Will Warr-filmed video continues, transitioning between various clips of fall footage, Kate continues her contemplative message, stating, “Trees shed their canopies in preparation for winter, just as we too learn to let go of what is no longer needed.”
She then begins to cook with Meller, as well as several young children, in the forest. The clips of the group’s outdoor cooking are interspersed with more clips of sweeping landscapes and close-ups of fall foliage to underscore the autumnal theme.

“Through greater awareness of our inner and outer worlds, we can find clarity and purpose in what matters most, encouraging us to simply pay attention and listen,” Kate continues. “With the turning of the seasons, Mother Nature teaches us there’s beauty to be found in change, impermanence and in letting go. These are the natural cycles of life.”
“Whilst the blossoms fall and the colors fade, the roots grow deeper, stronger, let love be the root that holds us, the light that guides us, with hope through change,” she finishes. “Endure.”
The caption of the video furthers this message.
“Autumn — a season of reflection, growth and deeper connection. Embrace the beauty found in change, as we prepare for winter’s rest,” wrote Kate, before she signed off the post with a “C” for her full first name, Catherine.
The Princess of Wales’ autumnal message comes months after the summer “Mother Nature” installment, which she posted in August. The very first edition marked the transition from winter to spring, as well as the start of Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom, in May.

The inaugural “Mother Nature” video featured Kate and Prince William together in the outdoors as she spoke about how nature improved her mental health amid her cancer journey. (She took a break from royal duties to receive treatment for cancer in 2024.)
“Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary,” the princess said the video, in part. “The natural world’s capacity to inspire us, to nurture us and to help us heal and grow is boundless and has been understood for generations.”

The third “Mother Nature” installment comes a week after Kate stepped out for the annual Remembrance service at the Cenotaph in London on Nov. 9.
This year’s Remembrance events come at a time of renewed stability for Kate, William, 43, and their three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — who recently settled into their “forever home,” Forest Lodge, in Windsor.
The family plans to remain at the home even after Prince William becomes king.
Last year’s Remembrance events came just weeks after Princess Kate announced she had completed chemotherapy for cancer, making her return to the Cenotaph especially poignant.
