Prince Harry’s US immigration status has consistently been challenged by conservatives on the other side of the Big Pond due to his previous comments about taking drugs including cocaine and marijuana

There’s no secret about the tension between President Donald Trump and the wandering royal, Prince Harry – but oddly enough, Trump’s evident annoyance with the Sussexes could end up benefiting Harry.
A recent YouGov poll revealed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, is the nation’s favorite Royal (68 percent), followed by William (62 percent). Harry and Meghan ranked 11th and 15th respectively. We’re not exactly pining for them.
Luckily, they managed to outdo Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. In 2020, we witnessed ‘Megxit’ as they made a privileged dash to California, part of their ill-fated plan to have their cake and eat it too. Harry and Meghan viewed Royal protocol and tradition as an insult, and in their quest to find adversaries and racism at every turn, they chose to be working royals on the celebrity-drenched west coast of the USA.

However, the late Queen didn’t share this view, and they were forced to step back after announcing their desire to become financially independent, reports the Express.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, retained their Duke and Duchess titles but are no longer referred to as His or Her Royal Highness (HRH). Harry also relinquished his military titles. They relocated to California in June 2020, expressing their desire for space to raise Archie. Their daughter Lilibet was born there in 2021.

The couple no longer has an official UK residence after being asked to leave Frogmore Cottage, a Grade-II listed property on the Windsor estate.
Initially, they were making a fortune, with books and documentaries exposing private chats and offending family members while the Royal Family remained hurt but stoic back home. In their stomach-churning 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview, they hinted at concerns within the Royal Family about Archie’s skin color.
The Queen responded gracefully with a Geoff Boycott forward defensive, stating that “recollections may vary”. When I think of all the ‘woke’ characteristics, that Harry and Meghan interview comes to mind.
Harry and Meghan interview
Two individuals who literally have a fairytale life – “you shall marry a prince!” – and wedding, yet dare to label themselves as society’s ultimate victims. It still makes me want to vomit.
But now, two things are happening that worry the Sussexes more than anything else. Firstly, some of their big money deals have dried up. Their frankly disgraceful $130 million Netflix deal has been canceled.
Poor Meghan even had to return to acting, although her new role in an upcoming movie sees her playing herself in a cameo. I wonder what drew her to play such a complex character?
Harry’s US status consistently questioned
For Prince Harry, his US immigration status has consistently been questioned by conservatives across the pond due to his past remarks about drug use, including cocaine and marijuana. He was safe while Democrats were in the White House, but Trump is a different story.
Harry is a ‘lawful resident’ but not a US citizen or a green card holder (permanent resident). With Trump, he’s walking on thin ice. Remember Trump’s recent post-State Banquet speech at Windsor Castle? He turned to King Charles and praised him for raising a “remarkable son” in Prince William. Harry wasn’t mentioned. Ouch!
Another worry for Harry is William’s skillful handling of Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The Epstein crisis has allowed him to permanently banish these problematic royals. They’re leaving the Royal Lodge in the New Year.
US exile could provide an opportunity
However, if the Sussexes were forced to return to the UK due to Harry’s visa issues, it could provide an opportunity for Harry to regain his dignity and return to what he loves doing.
He could go back to traveling the world, meeting Commonwealth members, veterans, Armed Forces – he might even get his military titles back. He might even start smiling again. He could also publicly criticize Trump – earning more points with the woke crowd – as the President waves them goodbye from the LAX runway.
All Harry needs to do is figure out how to persuade Donald Trump to make this happen, and he’ll regain the life he so clearly yearns for and sorely misses.
