Queen Camilla wore one of the British royal family’s priciest tiaras on Tuesday, November 18.

The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara is estimated to be worth millions.

Queen Camilla just broke out one of the British royal family’s most expensive crowns. On Tuesday, Her Majesty and King Charles III hosted the Diplomatic Corps reception at Windsor Castle, for which the Queen selected a stunning diamond and emerald tiara.

The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara features a diamond-encrusted band and a large oval-shaped emerald center stone. It was worn by Princess Eugenie for her 2018 wedding to Jack Brooksbank, though the piece dates back to 1919, per Vogue. Boucheron created it for Dame Margaret Greville, whose jewels were later inherited by the Queen Mother and passed down to Queen Elizabeth II.

Joanna Wyganowska, design expert and gemologist at Queensmith, told Daily Express that the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara is worth somewhere in the multi-millions: “[Its] value is staggering—upward of $6 million, perhaps as high as $13 million,” she said back in 2022.

“The near-100-carat emerald is cabochon-cut, meaning the surface is rounded and smooth, not faceted like you’d typically see with such valuable gems,” Wyganowska added.

Earlier this month, Camilla tried out this controversial trend to meet style icon Sarah Jessica Parker. On Tuesday, the Sex and the City star stopped by Her Majesty’s London residence, Clarence House, to celebrate the 2025 Booker Prize.

The Queen layered a sleeveless black dress over a polka dot blouse, affixing a poppy-shaped pin to its collar. She also accessorized with a pair of suede slouchy boots.

Polka dots have reemerged as a popular pattern thanks to labels like Nina Ricci and Acne Studios, who sent the geometric print down their runways in recent seasons.

As for Parker, she paired a cropped, double-breasted puff-sleeve jacket with what appeared to be a giant jeweled brooch. A simple midi-length dress and hot pink pumps topped off her look.
