Ethan Slater Makes Rare Comment on Girlfriend Ariana Grande | E! News

Ethan Slater is making a rare comment about his girlfriend Ariana Grande. The Wicked star, who began dating Ari while working on the John Mchu film in 2023, made the comments about his partner as well as co-star Cynthia Arivo, telling Extra during the Wicked for Good New York premiere, quote, “Everybody in it, Present Company excluded, is just so unbelievable. Ariana’s performance is out of this world. Cynthia’s performance is unbelievable.” Of course, while the couple is particularly private about their two-year romance, Ethan has not shied away from praising his girlfriend when it comes to her performance as Glenda the Good. When Ariana was nominated for a best supporting actress Academy Award for part one of the series earlier this year, the 33-year-old shared the news to his own Instagram account, gushing in a January post, quote, Oscar nominated. For Ariana’s part, she also has heaped on the praise for her man as she said during a February appearance on the Smart List podcast. Quote, “He’s amazing.” The 32-year-old also defended her partner amid the backlash she received for his 2023 separation from his wife, Lily Jay. Soon after the former couple welcomed their son a year before, she reflected to Vanity Fair in 2024, quote, “That was definitely a tough ride.
