Kevin Spacey ‘literally has no home’ after MeToo scandal destroyed his career

But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision. And I am humbled by the outcome today. That was Kevin Spacy in July 2023 after being found not guilty of assaulting four men in a high-profile trial in the UK. However, the sexual assault scandal rocked his career. And now the Oscar-winning American beauty actor says he’s homeless. He told the Telegraph, “I’m living in hotels. I’m living in Airbnbs. I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home. That’s what I’m attempting to explain.” Spacy, who has vigorously denied any wrongdoing, told the outlet that the costs over the last seven years have been astronomical. He said, “I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out, but added his money problems never got to the point of bankruptcy.” The actor also revealed everything is in storage. In the summer of 2024, Spacy’s Waterfront Mansion in Maryland was sold at auction for 2 million less than what he paid for. Spacy says he hopes his career quote continues to improve so that he’ll be able to settle down again somewhere. This week he performed at a resort in Cyprus. In May he received a lifetime achievement award at an event in Can have been able to come out the other side of these last few challenging years. Not angry, not bitter, not resentful, but more present, more loving, more understanding and more forgiving than I ever have been in my life. I am grateful and blessed. At the height of the Me Too movement, Spacy was accused of sexual misconduct by over 30 men, including actor Anthony Rap. He alleged Spacy made a pass at him at a party in 1986. At the time, Rap was 14 and Spacy, 27. In 2022, a New York jury found Spacy not liable of sexual battery in a civil lawsuit brought by Rap. Amid the scandal, Netflix replaced Spacy as the lead in House of Cards with his co-star Robin Wright. The show ended in 2018. Of his so-called cancellation in Hollywood, Spacy shared these four simple words with the Telegraph. You get through it.

Seven years after a sexual assault scandal rocked his career, Kevin Spacey revealed he’s homeless. “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is,” the Oscar winner told the Telegraph in an interview published Wednesday. “I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

The actor told the outlet that his financial situation is “not great” following the scandal — which eventually saw him acquitted of sexual assault allegations leveled by four men in the UK — but said it “never got to” the point of bankruptcy.
