‘Lucky’ Minka Kelly squirms when asked about boyfriend ‘Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds
You’re have a very big love in your life right now. Talk about um your relationship if you feel comfortable. Minka Kelly was visibly taken aback when Jenna Bush Hager asked her about her love life on Today. It all started when JBH tried to seamlessly segue from Minka’s Christmas romcom Champagne Problems on Netflix. I’m watching that. To her real life relationship with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. The actress appeared to look off camera, possibly at her publicist as if to say, “Help.” I think you posted this B-Day message saying he healed wounds he didn’t inflict. Yeah, that’s beautiful. It is beautiful. I feel very lucky. He’s a really good guy. That somewhat curt answer drew nervous laughs from Jenna and her celebrity co-host Olivia Mun. Sounds like you don’t want to talk about it. That’s fine. Um, I was like, I guess we don’t straight then go to we don’t talk about Bruno or Dan Reynolds. I guess the Instagram post that they were talking about was this one from July 14th on Dan’s 38th birthday. She gushed, “This beautiful man has healed wounds in me he did not inflict simply by being himself, by embodying true masculinity, the kind that is vulnerable, honest, and loving. I thought I knew kindness, love, patience, generosity, care. I thought I knew how to be gentle and then I met him. Dan is, of course, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, known for massive hits like Radioactive, Thunder, and Believer. He grew up Mormon and is now an outspoken ally of the LGBT community. Despite the awkward Today moment, Minka told Entertainment Tonight that she was lucky to have him in her life while still being true to herself. Take a look. You just seem beyond happy. How did you know that this guy was going to change your life? Uh, I think I changed my life first. You know, sometimes you get lucky. Uh, but you got to do your own homework first and find your own um, center. Wise words. Minky and Dan first sparked romance rumors in November 2022 after being spotted on a date in LA. This was soon after his split with his ex-wife, singer Aza Vulkman. They have four kids together. Minka and Dan then made it abundantly clear they were together thanks to several PDA moments. Although they mainly kept the relationship out of the spotlight, which is probably why she bristled in these interviews. Last year, Dan opened up about their relationship. Since they were long distance at first, she gave him a copy of her book, Tell Me Everything, to learn more about herself. That’ll do it.
