I’ve seen um this week people are taking the lyrics of Defying Gravity and really holding space with that. Uh I didn’t know that that was happening. I didn’t know that was happening. Well, it’s been a year since we were all holding space for Defying Gravity, whatever the hell that means. And now Ariana Grande and Cynthia Revo and the rest of the cast are back to promote the sequel Wicked for Good. And they’re making viral moments from east to west. First, we got to talk about that scary moment that went down at the premiere in Singapore on November 13th. A crazed fan jumped the barricade and charged at Ari, but Cynthia rushed in to protect her. Australian influencer Johnson Wen aka Pajama Man on social media pleaded guilty of being a public nuisance and was jailed for 9 days. A week later, Cynthia opened up about it to Savannah Guthrie on Today. This is full mama bear, Cynthia. Little you just getting in there being like, “Don’t you touch.” I mean, that’s just pure instinct, I guess. I I was really thinking. I just wanted to make sure my friend was safe, you know? Don’t mess with the wicked witch of the West, Oh, excuse me. Meanwhile, Alphaba’s little sister in the movies, played by Marissa Bodie, voiced her outrage on Tik Tok. But they’re a fan. Okay, then they’re a fan and a loser. Then on the Drew Barrymore show, Cynthia Revo opened up to the famously handsy host about her and Ariana’s magical connection. We walk hand in hand very often. Like if we’re not walking hand in hand, we’ll find each other somewhere. I think we assume that physical connection can only be romantic. But yes, that’s my point. You’re saying it so much better than I did. Ariana is lucky to have Cynthia by her side. In fact, she talked about their special touchyfey bond on Amy Puller’s Good Hang podcast. Take a look. But the moment that really went viral came from Entertainment Tonight, and this adorably honest reaction from the Whiz himself, Jeff Goldblum, about Johnny being named People’s Sexiest Man alive. Listen, there’s nothing sexier than progress. Progress? Yeah. Oh, cuz you know, you know me being sexy. The first gay man to be sex. Oh, yes. Yes. Yes. That is progress. Absolutely.
