Jenna Bush Hager Says George W. Bush Does Not Watch Her “Dumb Show” | E! News

Jenna Bush Hager is dishing some presidential secrets. During the recent episode of Today, the Jenna and Friends host recalls previously asking her dad, former President George W. Bush, to join her as a co-host on her morning show. But along with his no, Jenna also shares he is not really a supportive viewer. As she hilariously confesses on air, he says things like, “I don’t watch your dumb show.” Her fellow co-host Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Carson Daly of course laugh at the president’s honesty with Carson adding, “That’s why we love him.” But after seeing the 43rd president appear on a recent episode of Payton Manning and Eli Manning’s podcast, Jenna tries once again to see if her father will join the show, saying, “Maybe I’ll do a public ask for him to come and be a friend since he’s my father.” Savannah then notes that maybe it was easier for the former president to do that podcast since he was able to use Zoom. To which I’ll suggest why not have Jenna and friends go to him. And though she was very happy for the ideas, Jenna laughed saying I’m sure he’ll still say no. [Music]
