I think what people forget is it was based on a Disney theme park ride and everybody was just like that’s really embarrassing. I mean it made it definitely cooler that Johnny Depp was in it but it was still based on a Disney theme park ride. Nobody thought that that would work and it wasn’t until we were actually sitting at the sitting in the screening and suddenly people are laughing and I remember I was sitting next to Jack Davenport is in the film and he just went oh I think this is working.
