Elaine Hendrix on Making History at the #dwts Finale
You should be so proud, Elaine, because you have made history as only the third woman over 50 to make it to the Dancing with the Stars finale. What does that significance mean to you? Oh, it means everything. I feel like I’m representing not just my demographic, but everyone, you know, even younger and and behind me who can look up and go, okay, I I don’t ever have to stop. I started out this competition to reclaim a dream that I lost, and now it’s become so much more. I’m just so grateful. I’m so excited. like it being a reality is just something different this whole season from the first week I was like honestly let’s just take it week by week cuz you never know what’s going to happen and when you put too much pressure on yourself or expectations that’s when things you do them for the wrong reason and I think what happened so well with Ela and I is we did it for the right reasons the hard part is balancing all of the dancings together but the joy should still be there and for us it definitely is this season more than ever because of Elaine I’m more at ease I’m like oh let’s just enjoy this I would be throwing Enough.
