Jessica Simpson Reveals the Original Premise for ‘I Wanna Love You Forever’ Music Video
I want to love you forever and this is all I’m asking of you. This was my first music video, but there’s a version one that nobody has ever seen. I casted Ashton Kutcher as my love interest. We were waltzing in this like huge mansion. It was ballroom dancing. It was a million-dollar video. What happened was my hair was a little bit wavy and the head of the label wanted my hair straight. So that video got canned and I had to quickly turn around and do another music video that was a complete opposite of what I had just done. And that’s something that an artist has to recoup. And I had nothing to do with it. It was just me in a vintage plane in a field of fake daisies.
