Shawn Mendes visited the Jaraguá Indigenous Land in São Paulo where he was at the Tekoa Yvy Porã village to learn about aspects of Guarani Mbya culture and record footage for his documentary.

During the visit, he took part in traditional songs and spiritual experiences that are part of the memory and identity of the Guarani people, listening to stories and lessons.
