Hilary Duff Reacts to Rumors Leonardo DiCaprio Inspired “Mature” Song | E! News
Hillary Duff is addressing if her song Mature is about Leonardo DiCaprio. After the 38-year-old released her single last month, many fans have been trying to figure out who the song is about with some pointing to lyrics potentially referring to the Hollywood actor. Well, earlier this week, the singer calls into On Air with Ryan Serest and reacts to the rumors, saying, “First of all, we’re getting the biggest kick out of the speculations. It’s 100% thrilling, and the internet is such a funny place.” At the beginning of mature, Hillary says, “Very Leo of you with your Scorpio touch and quote, “Bet she’s so impressed by your Bosot.” For reference, Leonardo, whose nickname is Leo, was born on November 11th, making his zodiac sign a Scorpio. He also is reportedly a fan of the artist Jean Michichelle Basot. And to add fuel to the fire, Hillary’s husband, Matthew Coma, who co-wrote the song, then took to social media to share a picture of Leo’s character from Titanic holding on to the mature artwork. The singer adds of her husband’s post, “You can’t take anything that Matthew post seriously. He’s the biggest troll on the planet Earth. He will lead everybody down all the roads and have the most fun doing it.” And as for who really inspired the song, Hillary remains tight-lipped, cheekily adding, “Not confirming, not denying anything here.

It’s not about Joel Madden. The song is about someone who makes a habit out of dating young girls. Joel and Hilary had an age gap and it was gross, yes, but his other relationships have been with women his age. He’s been married to a woman his age for many years now. He’s also never shown interest in Basquiat.
