Aina Garton is serving up her honest thoughts on parenthood. The Barefoot Contessa star revealing her reasons for not having children on Good Hang with Amy Polar November 25th, saying she made the decision at a young age and that her husband Jeffrey Garden was quote okay with it. I just can’t imagine my life any other way. I’ve done it done what I wanted to do. Um I’ve had one, you know, just a wonderful time. Aa joking on the podcast, “The best part about being child-free is quote not being responsible for them, not having teenagers.” 77year-old Aa and her husband, 79-year-old Jeffrey, have been married for 57 years, dating back to 1968 when the two wed in Stanford, Connecticut. Jeffrey telling 60 Minutes back in 2022 that is quote the center of my life. She’s actually the font of an enormous amount of fun. And she is the center of the home. That’s what she is to me. [Music]

I'm with Ina. I didn't want kids at a young age. I knew i wasn't mother material. Not all women are meant to be mothers.
She is incredibly selfish.
Ina is NOT selfish, if you know you don’t want kids it’s BEST NOT to bring children into the world that you don’t want. She would have been selfish if she had kids and did not provide them with the time, patience and love a child needs. She made the right choice for her household. Not every woman is cut out to be a mother, good for her for realizing that!
