Karoline Leavitt is once again facing another personal blow after ICE detained her 11-year-old nephew’s mother, who is now currently facing deportation to Brazil

Karoline Leavitt is being incessantly trolled on social media after news broke of her family member’s ICE arrest.
The mother of her 11-year-old nephew, Bruna Ferreira, was detained by ICE officers and is now in a facility in Louisiana, facing deportation to Brazil. Bruna had been in a relationship with Michael Leavitt, the 28-year-old White House Press Secretary’s brother, and they share one child, Michael Leavitt Jr.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up by Bruna’s sister, Graziela Dos Santos Rodrigues, who wrote, “Bruna’s absence has been especially painful for her 11-year-old son, Michael Leavitt Junior, who needs his mother and hopes every single day that she’ll be home in time for the holidays.”

However, Karoline Leavitt’s critics can’t help but relish in the Press Secretary’s situation, and have taken to social media to troll her ruthlessly.
Some people were quick to accuse Karoline of being involved in the arrest, of which there is no evidence, with one critic penning, “Coming on the heels of rumors that Trump plans to shake things up in the White House, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if Karoline turned her in for brownie points.”

“Kind of shocking that Leavitt had an illegal immigrant as a sister in law. KKKaroline probably docked her in,” wrote a second, as a third person chimed in by saying, “Would you look at that, Karoline Leavitt? Life comes at you fast.”
Others were in utter shock at the irony of the situation, as one Karoline critic said, “Don’t be a hypocrite. Oops, too late.” Another person commented on X, “If only she’d dyed her hair blonde like Karoline suggested, none of this would’ve happened,” with a third quipping, “So f—ing perfect,” with three crying laughing faces.
The Mirror US has reached out to Karoline Leavitt’s representatives for comment.
