Billy Ray Cyrus Celebrates Miley Cyrus’ Birthday After Reconciliation | E! News

Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating daughter Miley’s birthday. The 64year-old sends the Disney alum a sweet note under her November 23rd Instagram post commemorating her 33rd birthday festivities with a nod to her childhood nickname. He writes in the comments, “Happy birthday, Smiley Miley.” The well-wishes come after the pair reconciled their public family rift earlier this year. Back in May, Miley told the New York Times that she feels quote at peace with where their relationship stands now, despite the challenging year. In fact, when it came time to celebrate her dad’s birthday in August, the singer wrote him a song. Billy took to Instagram to share the moment and captioned it, “For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called Secrets and got my favorite musicians, Fleetwood Mac, to play on it. I love you, Mile.” And in this next year of life, Miley says they both can look forward to more laughs.
