Corey Booker is a married man. On November 30th, the US senator shares the exciting news to Instagram that he has tied the knot to Alexis Lewis just two months after their engagement. Alongside snapshots from their two wedding ceremonies, Cory writes in the caption, “Overflowing with gratitude.” He said, “I do in two places that shaped us. Cory’s beloved New York and Alexis’s hometown of Washington DC. Hearts full and so grateful.” Cory and Alexis, who first started dating two years ago, announced they were headed down the aisle with a series of photos from his tropical proposal. He wrote on Instagram in September, “Alexis is one of the greatest unearned blessings of my life. She has transformed me, helping me to ground and center my inner life and discover the joys of building a nurturing home with someone you love.” He added, “We are excited for this journey ahead, having so much fun and feeling deeply grateful for the love, support, and energy so many of you have shared with us.
