Count Nikolai makes his acting debut in the psychological thriller "Doctor Glas", which will be released in Danish cinemas in April next year.

This was announced by the film company SF Studios, one of several parties behind the project, in a press release.

Here he appears in a minor role.

    – Entering acting for the first time and working closely with such strong Nordic talents has given me great respect for the profession and a lot of experience, he says in the announcement.

    – At the same time, the film's high quality and visually strong, modern expression made a big impression on me.

The film is based on a novel written by Swedish author Hjalmar Söderberg.

It is about the young doctor Gabriel Glas, played by Swedish actor Isac Calmroth.

One day, fashion designer Helga Gregorius (Thea Sofie Loch Næss) walks into his clinic, and it turns his life upside down.

Suddenly, the doctor finds himself in the middle of a love triangle with Gregorius and her husband (Christian Fandango).

The film is directed by Swedish Erik Leijonborg. He calls it his "dream project".

He is thus following in the footsteps of his cousin Princess Josephine.

She has been affiliated with the Fairy Tale Theatre, where children and young people learn acting, and she has appeared in “Peter Pan” in Tivoli.

Last year, you could also see her at home in front of the television, because the princess had a minor role in DR's Christmas calendar "Tidsrejsen 2", which was broadcast in December.

Theodora de Gréce has also had several roles in front of the camera. She has, among other things, appeared in “Glamour”. Theodora is Queen Anne-Marie's daughter, and she is therefore a cousin of Prince Joachim and King Frederik.

The film releases April 9, 2026.
