The Royal Collections Gallery today presented its new major temporary exhibition, “Victoria Eugenia.” The exhibition, which will be inaugurated tomorrow by Their Majesties the King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, will be open to the public from December 3 to April 5, 2026, on the third floor of the Gallery. Sponsored by the Santander Foundation, this is the first monographic exhibition on Victoria Eugenia of Battenberg, analyzing her role not only as consort, but also her lesser-known facets.
This is the first major exhibition on the life and legacy of the queen who modernized the role of Spanish consorts.
Patrimonio Nacional has brought together more than 350 objects, including books, dresses, jewelry, letters, and portraits, and recreates the queen's personal spaces in the Royal Palace.
