Prince Harry pokes fun at Meghan Markle’s cooking in ‘With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration’

I can feel it punching through the top of my head right now. When food makes you sweat, that’s good. That’s a good thing. Yeah. Prince Harry is back with another light-hearted cameo. And this time, he’s roasting Meghan Markle’s cooking. All in good fun. The playful moment unfolds in the new Netflix special with Love Megan: Holiday Celebration, which premiered on December 3rd. In the episode, Megan teams up with celebrity chef Tom Kikio to create a warm and homey Christmas feast. The star of the menu, gumbo. One of her family’s longtime holiday traditions. Megan, laughing, explains that her mom always saves a special portion for Harry on Christmas Eve made with turkey sausage to suit his taste. But today, she warns him she’s using andwi sausage. Translation: This batch has kick. And she even hands him a towel, teasing that the heat will make him sweat. After a bite, Harry clears his throat, sniffles dramatically, and declares he can feel the spice puncturing through the top of his head. Then comes the punchline. It is delicious. I’m not so sure it’s as good as your mom’s, but it’s certainly close. Wow. What? Oh my gosh. My mom will love you for that. You know what? What a good thing to say for your mother-in-law. Exactly. The segment wraps with Megan thanking Chef Kikio for joining her in the kitchen and turning for another sweet moment with Harry. But the holiday traditions don’t stop in the kitchen. Later in the episode, Megan teams up with restaurant tour Will Geddara to make classic Christmas crackers, a nod to Harry’s British roots. She explains how pulling crackers across linked arms is a staple of UK Christmas tables, describing it as really connected and sweet. This isn’t Harry’s first appearance in Megan’s Netflix series. He and Doria popped up in season 1, though he’s taken a more hands-off role in season two. The couple, married since 2018, are now enjoying life with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lil. And for fans eager to cozy up with the full holiday special, it and all episodes of With Love Megan are now streaming on Netflix.
