Kelly Osbourne Makes Rare Appearance to Accept Award for Ozzy Osbourne | E! News

Kelly Osborne is celebrating her father’s legacy. The youngest daughter of the late Aussie Osborne makes a rare public appearance in the rocker’s hometown of Birmingham, England, to accept a special award on his behalf. The Birmingham City Council shares pictures of Kelly along with her mom, Sharon Osborne, receiving the tribute from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham in a December 3rd Instagram post, writing, “Today on Azie Osborne’s 77th birthday, the Osborne family returned to Birmingham to receive Azy’s Lord Mayor’s Award in the Book of Condolences following his sad passing.” Kelly Osborne spoke with us about Azy’s Brummy Pride and the family’s love for the city. The council then shares a video message of Kelly where she can be heard saying, “I just want to take a second to thank the people of Birmingham for not only showing my family so much love, but for showing up for my father in a way that made him the happiest man on the planet. We got to see the book of condolences that has hundreds of thousands of signatures in it. It’s beyond our wildest dreams. We can’t thank you enough.” This special award for the Black Sabbath frontman comes four months after he passed away at the age of 76 following a year’s long battle with Parkinson’s disease. [Music]
