The View: Alyssa Farah Griffin Explains Why She Was MIA for DAYS!

First of all, first of all, welcome back, Alyssa. Thank you. How are you feeling? Alyssa Farah Griffin returning to the view on Thursday after a mysterious 3-day absence. The mom to be now explaining why she was gone. Feeling totally better, but getting sick while you’re pregnant is no joke. Yeah, Alyssa going into a little more detail on Instagram, telling followers, “I’ve been down sick with a stomach virus. Remember, it’s that time of year. Be smart. Use hand sanitizer. Stay home if you’re sick. I’m feeling great. I’m not contagious and I miss you. So, I’m really excited. We’re gonna have a baby on Alyssa revealing her pregnancy news on the show in October. Baby boy Griffin arrives this February. I’m so glad to not have to hide it anymore. I can breathe. It’s the first child for the 36-year-old and her husband Justin. The couple went through five rounds of IVF to get pregnant. We’ve got to have each other’s backs. Their challenges complicated by Alyssa’s endometriosis, which went undiagnosed until Alyssa and Justin tried to start their family. My advice to people is just don’t give up hope. I think it’s realizing like how lucky are we to have a platform and voices to talk about how we feel. Like we don’t shy away from the tough topics. So, I try to aim for a way to just like bring people together and make us understand each other better. I think you’re going to give so many women who are going through infertility and through IVF so much hope. Thank you. Oh my god. [Applause]
