Supposedly, while they were still following the script dialogue wise, Rue McClanahan (Blanche) and Bea Arthur (Dorothy), weren’t supposed to be laughing, but they decided to keep it in the final cut. Tbh, the laughing makes the scene even funnier and I’m happy they kept it
