Country star Kelsea Ballerini may have appeared “blindsided” by a heckler at a recent show, but her sharp clapback made one thing clear — she’s not afraid to speak her mind.
The East Tennessee native had strong response to a fan who appeared to bring up her ex-husband Morgan Evans, while attending her show in Sydney, Australia on Dec. 5. While performing her song “Penthouse” a concertgoer seemingly yelled “team Morgan,” to which Ballerini responded “f**k off!”
In videos shared to social media, Ballerini doubled down on her stance adding, “team everyone’s happy.” The 32-year-old singer followed up the long pause with a thumbs-up and a middle finger. She was met with cheers before continuing her set.
Following the show, Ballerini shared a message to fans on her instagram story. She wrote: “Respectfully, if anyone yells anything disrespectful to anyone during the song again, it will no longer be on the set list. Please let this be a song that matters to people and not a place to insert yourself into a world that doesn’t exist and was never yours to begin with. Team everyone’s happy or bust. Please.”

Ballerini and Evans began dating in 2016 before tying the knot in 2017. After nearly five years of marriage, they decided to go their separate ways, finalizing their divorce being finalized in 2022.
