This was revealed by Tom this week when he told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden: “I’m not [spending Christmas at Sandringham]. Nor is my sister. It’ll be every other year, one year on, one year off.”
Tom, a successful food writer, will instead spend the day with his children and his former wife, Sara Buys, at her home. It is not known how Laura intends to spend the big day.
It is believed Camilla had wanted her two children to be at Sandringham for Christmas last year after a difficult year following the King’s cancer diagnosis.
Both her children attended, with Tom revealing in the lead-up to the big day that they hadn’t spent Christmas with Camilla for a long time.
He told The Telegraph last year before Christmas 2024: “My mum said, ‘I’d love you to come, I haven’t had Christmas with you for a long time’.
“It has been a hell of a two years for [Charles and Camilla]. The older you get, the more conscious you become of mortality, especially with illnesses and the rest of it.”
It is believed Tom and Laura will both have some quality time with their mum over the festive season.
