Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Says He’s “Been a Bastard” to Janelle Brown | E! News

Sister Wife star Cody Brown is hoping it’s not too late to reconcile with his exes. Explaining on the TLC series December 7th episode, The Dad of 18 is now embarking on what he calls is a three-part apology tour. I feel like we’ve needed in Olive Branch the entire family and Janelle, you get the high honor and being the person I felt the safest with. He explained during his sit down with Janelle that he wanted to apologize for being so angry over the family breakup. So, I’ve been a bastard for about three years about this whole breakup. Four years. All right. And just nobody deserved to have me be that angry. Feeling at odds with his three former brides, Janelle, Mary Brown, and Christine Brown, and most of their combined 13 children, Cody fully acknowledges that he lied when he claimed he never loved his exes. The meanest thing that I did was I said, “I didn’t love you.” That wasn’t true. That was a lie from a perspective of pain. Though the pair didn’t untangle their specific issues, they each referenced how difficult it was to navigate plural marriage with Janelle specifically referencing her and Mary’s very different personalities and the tendency to clash. And still, she’s learned to put all the ugliness in the past. Like, it was a great relationship. I still care about him and I think he still cares about me, but I don’t. He’s not in my life and I’m not going to be in his life and there’s nothing there now. [Music] [Music]
