EXCLUSIVE: Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song and Fortune Feimster are set to join Kim Kardashian in the Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel. Eva Longoria is directing the pic from a script by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. Both Kardashian and Pell are producing along with Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell and Alex Brown through the Gloria Sanchez banner as well as Cris Abrego and Longoria’s Hyphenate Media Group.

The film follows a group of best friends from high school who attempt to reconnect during a weekend jaunt to Vegas. When a hot outsider (Kardashian) crashes the weekend, they’re forced to face their messy lives, bad decisions and unraveling friendships. Mary Bundy and David Hyman are exec producing.

The project has been a priority ever since the streamer landed the package over Thanksgiving weekend in 2023 following a competitive auction. To no one’s surprise given Pell’s track record, the script has been described as one of the funnier in some time by a number of buyers who were involved in the auction.

Glaser has turned into one of the more in-demand comedians following her scene-stealing set during the Tom Brady Roast, which aired on Netflix last year. She is currently developing a new comedy at Universal that she would star and Judd Apatow would produce.

Song was recently seen opposite Kate Hudson in the Netflix sports comedy Running Point. She was also recently seen in The Last Showgirl opposite Pamela Anderson.

Feimster recently starred in the Netflix action comedy series Fubar opposite Arnold Schwarznegger. She also voiced one of the characters in the recent Zootopia 2.

Glaser is repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Song is repped by CAA and Brookside Management and Feimster is repped by UTA and Levity Entertainment group.
