Billy Ray Cyrus Reacts to Miley Cyrus, Maxx Morando’s Engagement | E! News

Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating his daughter’s engagement just days after Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend of four years Max Morando confirmed their engagement and stepped out at the Avatar Fire and Ash premiere in Los Angeles December 1st with Miley sporting a ring on that finger. Her dad Billy Ray is praising the newly engaged couple. Taking to his Instagram December 3rd, the country singer posts a photo of himself with Miley and Dolly Parton, Miley’s godmother, writing in the caption, quote, “No wonder you turned out so special. You have the greatest godmother in the world, Dolly Parton. So happy you and Max found each other. Congratulations. Happy to see you both. So happy. Love, Dad.” The carousel also includes a photo of Miley and Max at the premiere with her sparkler on full display along with a more intimate photo of the two out to dinner. The shout out comes as no surprise as the Grammy winner recently made amends with her dad following a rough patch in their relationship. But it seems all has been forgiven as Miley recently shared exclusively with ENews some insight into writing and dedicating the song Secrets for her dad. What was his reaction when he found out that you were dedicating that song to him? Inspiring, you know, to have your people in your life inspire you. They always feel songs outlive us all. And so that’s kind of the fun thing about putting out music, you know, for someone that you love. It’s it’s adding on to his legacy by attaching the song to him. So he was really honored. I mean, it’s awesome that you guys get to have that bond and share that thing together, right? Yeah. It’s like grown from being a little girl playing him songs on my guitar to now being able to kind of put them out into the world. [Music]

Miley Cyrus’ dad Billy Ray Cyrus celebrated the news of her engagement to Maxx Morando months after the ‘Hannah Montana’ stars repaired their father-daughter relationship. The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer posted an Instagram tribute to his daughter Dec. 3 praising her and her godmother Dolly Parton. Billy Ray’s tribute comes just days after Miley and Maxx hit the red carpet for ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ where her giant sparkler was on full display.
