Those are the greats. If you look at the not so great, like Jimmy Kimmel, he was just terrible. At the Kennedy Center Honors, President Trump took a swing at Jimmy Kimmel, not once, but twice. The late night talk show host clapped back during his monologue, poking fun at the president’s obsession with him. Very hurtful. I thought we were friends. I don’t know what’s going on. He is really fixated. I’m starting to think he might have a crush on me. If I can’t beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be president. Agreed. I’m with you. I don’t think I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with anything more than that. Trump hosted the 48th annual Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, December 7th in Washington, DC. The first time ever a president has hosted the event. He gave out awards to artists across music, film, and theater. This is the greatest evening in the history of the Kennedy Center. Not even a contest. And I’ll tell you what, the Trump Kennedy Center, I mean some Kennedy Center, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone, country singer George Strait, the rock band Kiss, disco queen Gloria Gainner, and Broadway’s original Phantom of the Opera Michael Crawford were all honored. Trump appointed himself chairman of the Kennedy Center in February and said he was involved in selecting the honores. While addressing the crowd at the show Sunday night, Trump took aim at some audience members while praising the talent being honored. A day earlier on Saturday, POTUS awarded the 2025 Kennedy Center honores with medals in the Oval Office. He handed out gold medallions to Oscar nominated actor and filmmaker Sly Stallone and the three surviving members of Kiss minus the makeup and spandex. The following day, the rock legends reunited on stage to perform for the first time since the funeral of their guitarist Ace Freilley.

At the Kennedy Center Honors, President Trump took a swing at Jimmy Kimmel – not once, but twice.
