New England Patriots Star Jahlani Tavai’s Wife Shares Death of Baby | E! News

Galani Tavi’s family is mourning a tremendous loss. The New England Patriots linebacker and his wife Klay Mau share that they experienced a still birth last month with Klay taking to Instagram December 11th to announce the heartbreaking news, writing, “This is not the way I wanted to announce my second pregnancy, but I was 6 months pregnant with another beautiful baby girl.” She continues, “But I got an extremely rare blood infection and on November 20th, I was placed in a medicallyinduced coma. Unfortunately, with my organs failing and the sickness infecting my placenta, our baby passed away in my womb.” Klay, who’s also mom to one-year-old daughter Hanua with Galani, then shares that they had planned on naming the infant Kaoua, which means rain in Hawaiian. The pro volleyball player then ends the post by sharing the special sign she received from Caoua as she left the hospital, writing, “She was perfect to me. It was so hard to leave her. But when I walked outside, it started to rain and it brought me joy to know she’ll always be with me. [Music]
