Why did Chelley Bissainthe turn down ‘Beyond The Villa’? | Page Six Radio #shorts

How did Intuition play a part in deciding not to do Beyond the Villa, the next season of Beyond the Villa? Because when I saw the cast announcement, I gotta say I was a little bummed that you weren’t in it just because I loved you so much on Love Island. I was like, “Oh, no. Shelley’s not on it. Alier is not on it.” Like, there are some key players who will be missing from the experience. What went into your decision to say no? I think it was just more so just alignment, you know? Um, I, you know, loved the Love Island family and team and stuff and I enjoyed being on the season, especially for what it was. Um, but now just, you know, coming out of the villa and like wanting to pursue so many different things, I’m like, you know, I think I had my fun. But beyond the villa, maybe just not now. And also cuz I feel there’s one thing to do Love Island where it’s very like you guys are literally on an island so it’s not you don’t have to show too much of your daytoday life and you’re like it’s your dating life but I feel to have cameras following you around and everything you want to do. I can imagine be very intense. So I mean empower to the ones who did it like I’m very excited for them. I can’t wait to see how their season turns out. Um, but for me again like like you said it is a lot to have you know the cameras with you 247 and you know as much as I would want to share with my audience some things I just like to keep to myself and you know when the time is right for it to come out then it comes out but I’m enjoying my peace of mind. Did did Amaya or any of the girls really try and convince you to do it? Like no you know if anything we were all just kind of asking each other like hey like have you been thinking about it? Are you doing it? You know it was that kind of thing. And I was just hearing everybody’s input and also just reasoning and rhyme for wanting to, you know, be back on the cameras again. And I was just like, okay, you know, that’s cool, but not for me, though. Did you check in with any of the season 6 kids who did Beyond the Villa to kind of catch the temperature there? Yeah, I did. And I also seen a lot of it on social media as well, too. So, that was like as much as I got to watch of Beyond the Villa. So, it kind of gave me a a gist of like what it would be about. And then also speaking to them like you know they’re like ultimately it’s like whatever you want to do like whatever you feel like your reasoning is for wanting to go or not to go like is valid. So just whatever feels right to you. [Music]
