Rob Reiner’s Daughter Shared Glimpse at His Final Weeks | E! News

[Music] Rob Reiner and Michelle Reiner spent their final days surrounded by loved ones. Weeks before the When Harry Met Sally director and his wife of 36 years were tragically found dead in their home on December 14th in what the Los Angeles police have referred to as an apparent homicide. Their daughter Romy Reiner shares a look into a family vacation. On December 1st, Romy posts a recap of the family’s tropical trip, including moments of her mom on the beach and her dad enjoying a swim with her. Alongside the photos, the actress writes, “Thankful for family, health, and followers of any age.” In a separate November 30th post, Romy shares another peak into her time with her parents, including a selfie of her dad wearing a Spinal Tap 2 baseball hat as the pair swims in the ocean. The deaths of Rob and Michelle were confirmed in a statement by family members on the evening of December 14th. The statement to Variety says, “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michelle and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time. Hours after Rob and Michelle were found dead in their Brentwood, California home, the Los Angeles Police Department says in a December 15th press release that their son Nick was arrested in connection to their deaths. He is being held without bail according to the LAPD. [Music]
