Rob Reiner and Son Nick Argued at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas Party the Day Before Director Found Dead

    New details about Rob Reiner’s final hours are coming to light. One day before the director and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner, were found dead inside their Los Angeles home December 14th, he and the couple’s son, Nick Reiner, got into a quote heated argument at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party. E-News has reached out to reps for Rob Ben Conan for comment, but has yet to hear back. Hours after Rob and Michelle were discovered, Nick, who co-wrote the 2015 drama Being Charlie, which was directed by his dad, was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed in a December 15th press release. He remains in custody as the case awaits filing consideration by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Nick’s bail was originally set at $4 million according to online jail records reviewed by ENews. However, the LAPD says he is now being held without bail. In the wake of the tragedy, family members confirmed the deaths of Rob and Michelle, who were also parents to Jake Reiner and Romy Reiner, telling Variety in a statement, “We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.” Rob’s daughter, Tracy Reiner, also shared her stunned reaction to the deaths of her dad and stepmom.
