Second Stage Theater‘s upcoming Broadway production of Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw will feature Alden Ehrenreich (Weapons), Patrick Ball (HBO Max’s The Pitt) and three-tie Tony nominee Linda Emond in starring roles, producer Second Stage Theater announced today.

Directed by Trip Cullman, Becky Shaw begins previews at the Helen Hayes Theater on March 18, 2026, with an official opening on Monday, April 6.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Becky Shaw received its New York premiere with Second Stage Theater in 2009. This production will marks the Broadway debuts of playwright Gionfriddo as well as actors Ehrenreich (who will play the character Max) and Ball (Andrew). Emond will play Susan.
