Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to have a California Christmas.
According to an article published by Hello! on Wednesday, December 17, the Sussexes are opting to celebrate the holidays at home in Montecito with their two kids, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
As for the royal family, they will carry on their tradition of celebrating Christmas at Sandringham, King Charles III and Queen Camilla‘s country retreat in Norfolk, England.

The news that Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, will spend Christmas on the West Coast comes three months after the Spare author reunited with his father, ending their 18-month estrangement. However, Harry has yet to reunite with his older brother, Prince William.
In September, a few days after Harry’s London meeting at Clarence House with the sovereign, 77 — who is battling an undisclosed form of cancer — he told The Guardian that this coming year, “the focus really has to be on my dad.”

When the outlet asked Harry if he would “like to spend more time in the UK” and to take his children there, he responded, “Yes I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”
Harry and Meghan have not spent the holiday with his family since 2018. In 2019, the husband-and-wife duo spent Christmas in Canada before announcing in January 2020 that they were stepping back from their royal duties.
