Working With Jennifer Aniston on Friends π
My very first day on set of friends was the birth of baby Emma. We showed up at the Warner Brothers lot with a brand new animatronic newborn [music] baby. I saw Jennifer Aniston sitting on the hospital bed reading her script. I approached her, introduced myself. We sat down and talked for a few seconds and then I gave her the puppet. The eyes were closed. It looked like it was sleeping. I walked away. When they started rehearsing the scene, the puppeteer and I made the baby stretch, blink, and look up at Jennifer. She was stunned. She looked around, but we were nowhere to [music] be seen cuz we were hiding behind the audience bleachers. They finished the entire rehearsal. Then I walked up to her. She looked at me and said, “Please take care of my little girl for me.” I [music] took the puppet away and said as if she were mine. We exchanged a smile. Super cool moment. Thanks, Jennifer.
Working on Friends was already surrealβ¦ but watching Jennifer Aniston react to our animatronic baby was next-level. Still one of the sweetest moments Iβve had on set.π«
