See Sarah Paulson’s TRANFORMATION Into Aileen Wuornos for Monster
[music] It was startling to see myself for the first time. Um, and at the same time I thought, “Oh, there she is.” >> Sarah Pollson looking killer in our first glimpse of her as murderer Eileene Wenos for Ryan Murphy’s Monster season 4. >> We really went balls out. >> That’s the Allair star looking worse for wear in the serial killer’s signature weathered look. It doesn’t bother me because tell >> Waros, who was executed in 2002, was convicted of killing seven men while working as a street prostitute. >> I’m the real deal. All right. >> She was famously portrayed by Chariss Theren, who won an Oscar for her unrecognizable performance in the film, coincidentally titled Monster. >> People kill each other every day. And for what? [sighs] for politics, for religion, and their heroes. No, no. There’s a lot of I can’t do anymore, but Killllin’s not one of them. It’s such incredible material, but then at the same time, it’s quite frightening, you know. And I knew that if I said yes, that [music] the journey would be a hard one. And you don’t take a project on like this and you, you know, [music] go in only 50%. You know that if you’re going to do it, you’re going to have to go in all the way. Once I started seeing images of her and stuff like that, I I knew that we’d have to do quite a bit to get me there. We have a amazing makeup artist, [music] Tony G, who does, you know, she did Planet of the Apes and Grin and great special effects makeup. and she really just designed the whole look from from images that we had of Eileen and came up with, you know, how to texturize the skin and [music] um we do latex on the eyes to make them a little bit heavier and and [music] you know, just a little more sun damaged. As for Sarah, she’s worked with Ryan on more than a dozen projects, and it’s not the first time the showrunner has tackled Eileen’s story. Sarah’s American Horror Story co-star, Lily Rae, played the killer in season five of the series. Most of those men didn’t have a history or record of violence or assault. >> I don’t know. I don’t know their I don’t know their history. I only know who they were on that day. I only knew them on that one day. And on that one day, they were who they were. >> Fans will get to see more of Sarah take on the infamous Eileen when Monster the Lizzie Bordon story hits Netflix next year. >> That’s the tea. Huh? >> That’s the tea.
Sarah Paulson steps out, transformed into serial killer Aileen Wuornos, on the set of ‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story,’ streaming on Netflix in 2026.

I love Charlize Theron, she's one of the best Aileen in Monster
The world does not need another version of this.
Aint no way the same director cast 2 different actresses in both his adaptations of her. Omg can we pay him to stop making shows please
As much as I love Sarah, they don’t need to do this again.
Another “Monster” movie?!? It’s going to be hard for her to outdo Charlize Theron.
Ehhhhhh. I don't know.
Lilly rabe wasn't good at it. Sorry! I know I wouldn't that's for sure! I just didn't like her playing her, she just wasn't good at it. Sarah I guess we'll see. I wish they would bring new combers in and let new actors shine, because sometimes you can't look past the actor. I'll I'm gonna see is Sarah polsuon rather than Aileen.
Ohh Sara paulsen is about killl this role !!!
I actually wouldn't have mind if they did a season about Aileen Wuornos, because there were also some small things they left out of the movie "Monster" for example, Aileen actually tried seeking refuge at a "Christian Farm", apparently owned by a missionary(or a female pastor), and that same person who owned the farm was also interviewed by 60 Minutes on CBS, stating Aileen had asked for her help, but not help for killing, just like needing help, begging for help, but they never included that in the biopic film, it was only talked about in documentary interviews.
For season five, they should do a season about the life of Jim Jones the cult leader (Known for the Jonestown Massacre).
Can the Hollywood producers let these serial killers rest in hell and stop telling their stories like we haven’t heard it 1000 times.
What I liked about the film was that you could see Aileen herself was a victim. A difficult life, little education and drugs can make it harder to live a good life, although some do overcome a lot it does have a lot to do with intelligence, not everyone is born with natural intelligence to help stir through difficult situations.
This is going to be trash.
If Aileen Wuornos was a dark skinned Black woman with the same abusive upbringing and had committed the same crimes no one would give a phuck. No one would know who she was. The comments section would completely different in its tenor.
Stop trying to top classics!
The pics had me thinking she was Cynthia Nixon.
"Monster, the Lizzie Borden Story" with Aileen Wuornos??
if they already made a monster movie why make another monster . its sooo too lazy
Charlize Theron did it best, horrible as Eileen was. Let's not see this shit again. Hollyweird has no more original ideas!!!
Sarah Paulson is a fantastic actress. A true talent
This is gonna sound sick n I know. Aileen was my fave serial killer. Life, the legal system, etc failed her so hard. They say in the USA ppl wit an IQ under 70 can't be put to death. Her IQ was on record as 68. But Jeb Bush was in an election year n cleared it. She was DEFINITELY INSANE n DEFINITELY KILLED WITHOUT REASON. No doubt. But how do we support law makers WEN THEY DON'T SUPPORT THE LAW??
Sarah Paulson kind of looks like British actress Mia Goth Shia Labeouf's wife.
She looks like the redhead from sex in the city
All the people saying they should not make this need to understand that you do not need to watch it. But I bet most of you will. Calm down.
Why does Hollywood keep regurgitating the same stories over and over???
Boring 😑
Why does American cinema keep glorifying murderers?
She don't need the makeup with that face🤭
But why? Beside she look more like Cinthia Nixon , already wrong 🤣🤣🤣
I thought Season 4 was meant to be Lizzie Borden?
Ok, Paulson is doing it for a series, not a movie 😮💨
Again 😂
Why are they remaking this wtf
Why are people freaking out as if Sarah Paulson is here to outdo Charlize Theron’s work from 20 years ago?
It's NOT a competition. It’s story Telling.
Many real life people (celebrities, politicians, criminals) have been played by different actors; Charlize did an amazing job, no one can deny that, It's just different angles to a story.
•Marilyn Monroe was played by Michelle Williams, and Ana De Armas, both were nominated,
•Al Capone, by Robert De Niro, and Tom Hardy,
•Jackie Kennedy by Natalie Portman and Katie Holmes,
• Ted Bundy was played by Zac Efron (Extremely Wicked), Mark Harmon (The Deliberate Stranger), Billy Campbell (The Stranger Beside Me), and Michael Reilly.
• Jeffrey Dahmer was played by Evan Peters, Ross Lynch, Jeremy Renner and Carl Crew.
YAY!!!!!!!! I got what I wanted. I hope they show her childhood.
“..I knew we would have to do Quite a a Bit to get me there…we have an amazing makeup artist. she did Planet of the Apes and Grinch..”😂😂 Well damn Charlize!
Ryan Murphy must not have seen the one with Charlize Theron and directed by Patty Jenkins. No remake needed. Could be worse. He could have made a drama series believing Kim Kardashian could act. 😏
Personally, if they had to do another adaptation, I would’ve gone with Lily Rabb. She was amazing when she portrayed Eileen in American horror story. Mind you that was fiction, but I do think she would kill it in a faithful TV adaptation. I say faithful, because yes, we support artistic licensing for true stories because it’s impossible to get it 100% accurate. But, Ryan Murphy has been taking a few too many liberties. He shouldn’t be to put things politely. That would be one thing if we were talking about a series of events that took place over a century ago. But there are people still alive who remember these stories and were directly affected. They need to be considered.
Looks like Cynthia Nixon in the thumbnail
Wait! That's Sarah Paulson? I thought that's Cynthia Nixon.
LEAVE IT ALONE!!! CHARLIE KILLED THIS ROLE
I’m so excited !
Charlize killed it. So will Sarah. She's amazing.
IMO with the movie Monster starring Charlize Theron, plus a few good documentaries, there is absolutely no need for this series, especially if he's only going to add a bunch of made up crap to her horribly tragic sad story, the way he did to the Ed Gein story which was trash.
Why are they doing a remake, Charlioze throne already played her. The movie was great and she won an academy award for her character portrayal. Stop remaking the same movies.
Why are we redoing this no one can ever come close to charlize role
Funny how they made her look relatively accurate where but made the other guys look like super models
Charlize won an Oscar for the movie Monster, what else 🤷🏻♀️
Charlize Thereon will ALWAYS be #1.
I love Sarah, but her overbite throws it off…..
