Taylor Swift unveils Disney+ docuseries ‘The End of An Era’
Taylor Swift shares rare behind the scenes moments in her new Disney+ docuseries “The End of An Era” premiering Dec. 12.
Well before they were engaged, Travis Kelce knew Taylor Swift was the love of his life.
In the finale of the Disney+ docuseries “Taylor Swift: The End of an Era,” whose last two episodes dropped Dec. 23, Swift revealed some of the sweet encouragement that her then-boyfriend shared in a note delivered to her green room as she prepared to take a final bow in the last concerts of her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024.
“So many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time and being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me,” she read out loud to the camera crew and her mom, Andrea Swift.
“I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert [Allen] for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri,” the note continued. “That night, too, in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life.”
After reading the rest of the message, Swift exclaimed, “Aww my God!” As she stood up from the couch she dryly said, “So much for no emotions on the last three shows.”
She then went on to open up about feeling “weird jitters” about her last three performances in Vancouver, telling her mom, “I just feeling like I’m preparing for tears in a way that’s making me feel confused.”
The episode’s revelation comes weeks after Swift called her fiancé “the love of my life” in a sit-down with Stephen Colbert on his “Late Show.”
The lovebirds, who famously met after Kelce took to his “New Heights” podcast and bemoaned his failed attempt to give the popstar his number via a friendship bracelet at her July 2023 Eras Tour shows in Kansas City, connected when Swift’s mom played matchmaker, the docuseries revealed in Episode 4.
After the two went public with their engagement in August, Kelce called Swift the woman “I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”
