Jeffrey Dean Morgan is congratulating two stars from his show, Destination X, on their engagement.
Ally Bross and Mack Fitzgerald first connected while filming the first season of the NBC travel competition series, and revealed their off-screen romance on Instagram in July 2025. Five months later, on Tuesday, Dec. 23, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram.
As host of Destination X, Morgan, 59, couldn’t help but share his support. “Well well well! Congrats kids! All the love, xojd,” the actor commented.

Sharing a series of picturesque photos from the proposal in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Bross included the simple caption: “fall in love again and again.. forever 💍.”
Fitzgerald popped the question on bended knee atop a rock in front of a majestic, cascading waterfall. Bross looked shocked as she leaned back and covered her face with both of her hands before embracing her former competitor. The pair hugged and kissed in several shots as Bross flashed her sparkling pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.
In her own Instagram post, Fitzgerald shared more photos from the special moment. “we’re engaged!!!!!!!!! betta luck next time boys,” Fitzgerald wrote in the caption.

Before dating Fitzgerald, Bross was in a showmance with fellow cast member Shayne Cureton, but the former couple split a few months after the show wrapped.
Fitzgerald and Bross started spending time together because they both lived near Austin, Texas. Soon, their friendship turned into something more.
“Fifteen months ago, we met on reality TV. It was fine at first… but we ended up actively disliking each other. After the show, we became fast friends. By chance, we only lived eight minutes apart,” the couple explained in an Instagram reel on Nov. 11. “A year ago, we took a trip to Finland as friends. Ten months ago we became girlfriends. Today, we launched a sapphic clothing brand (Sapphic Rebellion)!”
On July 17, the duo publicly confirmed they were dating, sharing photos together from a romantic getaway in Hawaii. “Turns out I DID win Destination X. In a shocking twist, I found my soulmate,” Bross captioned her Instagram post. “To the ends of the earth. I love you, Mack 🤍.”

In another Instagram post that same day, Fitzgerald explained how Bross helped her clear up her confusion about her sexuality.
“I got to know Ally and everything changed,” she wrote in part. “Now I think love is real and amazing and the best and I want someone (Ally only) to be in my house all the time forever. Anyway, all that to say, I’m so so happy and so in love with the coolest, baddiest, sweetest, smartest, silliest, girly around. Never saw it comin. Shout out Destination X for bringing us together on some tarmac somewhere in Italy (apparently). I’m the luckiest Mack in the world. What a dream.”
Later that month, on July 25, Fitzgerald and Bross celebrated six months of dating, with Fitzgerald describing the time as “the silliest, sweetest, softest, most magic-, happy-, and love-filled months I have ever lived.” This suggests that the couple’s relationship became official in late January.
