On Christmas day, the entire invited royal family traditionally walk together from Sandringham House in Norfolk to St. Mary Magdalene church, where they greet well wishers. After the service, they head back to the country estate for a festive lunch before tuning in to King Charles III’s Christmas speech at 3 p.m. As for presents, for all its wealth, the family has been known to prefer gag gifts over expensive baubles. One year William and brother Prince Harry even gave the late Queen Elizabeth II a whoopie cushion!
