While autumn is often preferred for weddings, some couples prefer the charm of a winter celebration. Just like Holly Ramsay, daughter of 17-Michelin-star chef Gordon Ramsay, who said “I do” to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty on Saturday, December 27, in a stunning ceremony at Bath Abbey.

The couple was surrounded by family, friends, and a host of notable faces, including David and Victoria Beckham, who attended with their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

For the occasion, Victoria Beckham chose a long, satin gown in a sophisticated teal hue. The design features a flowing, carefully crafted silhouette, including a deep V-neckline, long sleeves, Greek-inspired ruching at the waist, and a subtly flared skirt reminiscent of a mermaid tail.

But the crown for best-dressed of the event went to her daughter, Harper, who once again proved she’s inherited her mother’s impeccable style. The youngest Beckham opted for a long satin dress from Victoria Beckham’s collection.

She layered a chic, cropped feather jacket, elevating the ensemble’s sophistication. Her look was completed with black strappy sandals and a Bottega Veneta clutch, a coveted accessory among true fashion insiders.

Harper first wore this midnight-blue satin gown with delicate straps at her father’s 50th birthday celebrations in July at their Cotswolds estate. The piece hugs the body gently and is part of a recurring pattern in Harper’s wardrobe, similar designs in shades of brown, red, and more, a deliberate strategy she seems to have inherited from her mother.

Victoria herself is no stranger to repeating looks. She has worn the same gown at Holly Ramsay’s wedding, including at a British Royal State Banquet honoring the Emir of Qatar and at Le Grand Dîner du Louvre.
One of the clearest examples is the Isabella dress, a favorite among royalty and bridesmaids alike, first introduced in Victoria’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection (worn by Bella Hadid). Since then, it has appeared in countless colors and has become both her signature and a staple for women worldwide.

As Ornella Ioncoli, fashion consultant at Murph Agency, explains. “When a piece is repeated, fits multiple people beautifully, and is backed by the designer herself, it builds credibility and loyalty. It shows that crafting a dress that truly works on any body is no small feat.”
