Cheryl Hines wants to be armed with specific information about The View host’s significant others next time she sits down with them.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm actress, 60, appeared as a guest on the Friday, December 26, episode of The Dr. Phil Podcast and was asked about her tense October appearance on the daytime talk show — hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin — where she faced questions about her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s role as United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.

“You’re on there defending some things that your husband’s doing. Do you think it would be the same the other way around? Phil McGraw asked Hines. “Do you think a man would have to defend what his wife was doing?”

“I don’t think so,” she replied. “I was also thinking, what if I ask them about their husbands? Next time I go on, I’m really gonna read up on what’s happening with their spouses, just so you know, it can be even, you know?”

“It’s not very… women supporting women,” the Emmy-nominated actress continued. “It would be different if they were attacking me for my views, but I haven’t been a very political person. I’ve only told people they should vote. I didn’t even say for whom. I just said I think it’s a good idea to get out there and vote. That’s as much as I’ve said.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, Hines appeared on The View on Tuesday, October 14, to promote her memoir Unscripted and was also put in the hot seat regarding RFK Jr’s statements and policies.

At one point, Hostin, 57, declared, “The problem, respectfully, is that your husband is the least qualified Department of Health and Human Services head that we have had in history.”

“Why is he less qualified than an economist?” Hines shot back. “How is that possible? He has spent his career studying toxins, studying people’s health.”
